Deep below the abandoned halls once occupied by the Black Knights, prisoners speak of strange chanting echoing through the stone corridors long after midnight. Guards stationed near the lower cells have disappeared without a trace, while others returned pale and shaken, refusing to speak of what they witnessed beneath the fortress.

Some claim an old necromancer still survives in chains beneath the headquarters. Others believe the figure is no longer entirely human.

At the same time, demon hunters across the continent have reported an unsettling phenomenon. The bodies of slain demons no longer fade completely into ash. In rare cases, something remains behind — twisted fragments pulsing with infernal energy, radiating a presence so vile that even experienced warriors hesitate to carry them for long.

There are rumors that these remnants are being gathered for a ritual.

The name most commonly spoken in frightened whispers is Zar’thul.

Long believed to be nothing more than a forgotten legend buried beneath dragon cemeteries and ruined libraries, the creature is said to have awakened once more. Scholars studying forbidden texts claim that an ancient ritual is underway — one involving dragon fire, relics lost to time, molten gold, and a frozen heart capable of restoring life to something that should have remained dead forever.

Those who have ventured too deep into the old dragon territories tell of strange encounters with undead guardians, burning spirits, and creatures protecting secrets hidden for centuries beneath the surface of the world.

And somewhere in the darkness, something waits patiently for the ritual to be completed.
